Just water color paint an old sketch:)

Last month I’ve just bought a new water color box, and yesterday is the first time I took it out to experiment )

In the mean time ^o^ I found this B&W sketch in my lock and yes, I paint it ..

Hehe it looks nice (in my opinion) though, luv it ~~

old manga

^^ I drew these quite a long time ago, since I was in high school. By chance I found them yesterday while I was rearranging my desk and old document.

It brought up lots of old memories.

Most of them are drafts, some are all in pencil, some has been traced by pen. None of them have been finished yet

Now I don’t often draw manga ( meaning comic in Japanese style) any more. I want to try again some times^^.

Though I’m not really a good drawer I still hope one day to finish a complete short manga ( which can only come true when I have a good story, and this can only happen when I attend Narrative class more often ).

a sketch full of confusion

I draw this while thinking about my fave movie Le Fabuleux Destin D’Amelie Poulain. In the poster, the main character has a really strange smile, mysterious and a bit scary. A smile that conceals the secrets she’s hiding and shows that she’s in control.

I like this movie right at the first time I saw its advert poster. After watching, it changed my perspective of life in some way, and I love everything related to the movie, the story, the characters, music and yeah everything.

I didn’t try to draw Amelie, but I want her expression in the character so I draw with my memory.. I want to make other happy and control my life the way she does, but it’s like too hard in real life.

In fact I was just thinking around and don’t know what I’m sketching down..

These days I had to face up with horrible things and experiences but it’s not the right place to discuss these private problems. I guess I should keep in mind that those things will help me grow, either in one way or the other. Shouldn’t complain and look back too much.

Hope that everything will be better soon, I will be an optimistic girl as always.

8 steps to make a cute calendar

Don’t know what to do on the holiday, so I play with photoshop and make this May month calendar ^o^

These are 8 simple steps that you can do to create your own calendar ^____^

Step1 : Begin with drawing a round-square

Step 2 : Draw the lines around the edges of the square

Step 3 : Decorate inside with dots and dots

Step 4 : Draw a cute character ( a white fox here ) and put it at the corner of the image

Step 5 : Draw a white box next to the fox and set it as 50% transparent

Step 6 : Choose a font and type in the month of the calendar

Step 7 : Arrange the dates ^^

Step 8 : Decorate some more and finish your own calendar

*Note: Each step should be done on a new layer in case you may want to edit one particular part without affacting others (ex. change the color of the background, the month, the date …) :”>
