I myself think that my flash is about visual much more than about sound after all :”>

[3d] Warehouse exercise

This exercise name is actually “Factory”. But making a real factory would cost A LOT of time So me and my two classmates decided to make the ware house instead. This cost us team work only in 2 hours :”> I like the result~~ Though all I have done in this exercise is making the crates ) Cost like nearly an hour only )

[3Dmax] Barren land

My another attemp to make a scene in 3D max.

Thanks to my classmate ’s kind helps I finished this Barren Land exercise XD

Just figure out that I should not ( or can not? ) be a 3D artist. ) 3D’s too complicated or me I guess…

Eh…Anyway I’ve done another exercise. ^^ For another month still 4 others (just 3D T..T ) to go.

It seems like I’m getting super busy since all 4 classes I take this semesters are full of assignments and exercises to do.

2nd view.. I don’t know why the water in the lake get this look (with no water inside it =)) ) Maybe the day light I put in is too bright it dried the water ) ? ( No Linh! )

Anyway even though I know I’m not good at 3D I still like it some how, I will try to make my skill better in this subject (promising to myself… -..-;; ).

first 3D XD~

Last 2 days I had no idea about 3D Max.

But the assignment due today..

So in 2 day I have read and done everything I can, sticking with the PC and the software, and here is the result, my first 3D ever )

Phew finally I submitted the file T..T rendering costed so much time guys. God at first I thought that I hate 3D, but after finishing something it kinda change my mind( which is not really good but it’s my first time ^^*) . Hehe anyway at the moment I can’t get away with it since bunch of assignments are waiting ahead.

Interface design for smart cart device

This is a part of the group project building smart shopping cart for a supermarket chain in town called Co.opMart.

My responsibility is to design the device interface. I have never worked this hard before in designing something I have little interest for (device? it sound too technical for me, and I don’t like things technically complicated ). This is also the first time I do this type of design, tasks are to make the interface look professional and belivable, but still friendly. The logo of Co.op Mart is put at top left, the color of the device should go well with the logo also.

After 3 day working solidly these are the results , hope that they please your eyes and you may find them interesting to shop around the supermarket with a smart device ).

Some descriptions about this device:

+It’s touch-screen device. It’s placed in every cart in our supermarket.

+You need a membership card (which can obtain easily by signing up with the nearest Co.op Mart) to power on the device.

+A welcome page will appear asking which language you want to use.

+Information page hold all information related to Co.op Mart, promotion deals, new products..

+Search for and choose the product you want to buy, information and location of that product will be displayed on product pages.

+You after that can go to the place the device has shown you (on the map) to pick up the product.

+Add product to cart by using barcode reader placed at the right of the device, after the barcode is entered to the device automatically when you pass the barcode corner of the product through the cart reader, a screen will appear asking you the quantity you want to purchase.

+The products will be added to your cart with price of each kind. My cart function allowed you to review all of them with total price. You can always edit your cart by clicking “del” to delete one and pass the product through barcode reader to add one .

Though some people complain about the color of my interface, I’m still satisfied with it now ^^

Woohoo after three day without sleeping (m lying, ) – I did sleep, but only 4-5hour per day), now I can have a full happy no worry sleep and prepare to  face up with the next assignment due on this 22nd T..T Xmas would be so much fun this year~

Hope I can get a good sleep now ^^() ..

An assignment in my web programming class.. Eveyone needs to create their own webs.

I did this for 3 days, and it’s pretty simple because this is just 1st part. Second part will be finished before this semester and turn this website in to a complete community one, where you can edit your profile and made friend with other too ^^Sincerly, I hate coding and it drived me nuts in 3 day working. But the design is simple and cute and seems to go well with the content I personally like it XD

CSS motif and theme assignment

Oh I have to say I don’t have time to do this assignment, thus I don’t feel satisfied with the result yet.

However it’s the first time I’m trying to do some coding (which m so bad at T..T ) together with cutting the layout, and I did everything on time , which to me, is an honour thing ^^ .

Didn’t sleep much recent days,,,,,,, Oh I should go get some sleep or else will become a peevish girl.

We are required to design a web page for CSS zen garden with a theme and motif developed by ourselves.  My chosen theme is nature, and I try to make the web as simple as I can because only have a day to finish everything… (actually the lecturer gave us plenty of time, but I was lazy and T..T..) Have to take responsible from that..

My flash title sequence

Our last assignment for the class electronic imaging and design this semester is to create a title sequence flash for a royalty free movie.

I chosed “Un chien Andalou”, a silence movie made in France in 1929 and having sound put-in in around ~1960.

Very interesting movie, you should have a look at it when you got time because only 17 min-length ^^

This is a Black and white movie thus I decided to construct my flash in black and white and make it look like an old time movie.

· Take note of significant parts in the movie and draw the storyboard

In the movie, people most remember 2 scenes:

1. The scene of an eye being cut as a metaphor massage of the film-makers to the viewers: this movie should be watched with different eyes.

2. The scene of ants running outside of a black hole in the man character’s hand. The French phrase “ants in the palms”, (which means that someone is “itching” to kill) is shown literally through this.

Influenced from these scenes, I have decided to design the outlook of the flash with elements such as eyes, ants and the hand. Because this is the title sequence for an old movie, I want to make it look as old as the movie and as simple as how the old-timed title sequences are like.

· Find suitable music

From the website Freeplaymusic.com, I have found “The toymaker’s dream” piece of music, which is very suitable with the mood of the movie – dream-like sequences.

· Work with photoshop to illustrate graphics

· Construct the flash

I decided to make a black and white flash because this movie is B&W one.

I used 3 types of fonts in the flash :

When introducing the title of the movie, I wanted it to appear the same in their poster (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm594777856/tt0020530) but I can not find the exact font thus I have used a resemble typeface.
